Fall 2022 Malty Modal Ride - Evanston

On October 5th, IL-ITE had our last Malty Modal ride of 2022 in Evanston.

We had a smaller, more low-key group of folks bike around Evanston to check out their awesome protected bikeways on Sheridan, Church, and Davis on a beautiul autumn evening. Thanks to all who came out, and Smylie Brothers Brewing for hosting us. We look forward to doing these again next year once things get warmer. In the meantime bundle up and check out some of the great activities and meetings we have coming your way!

2022 Traffic Controller 101 Technical Training

IL-ITE had an awesome turn out (for both days!) at the Traffic Signal Controller 101 Training on September 7th and 8th. The event had more than 30 attendees, and featured representatives from Mobotrex and Traffic Control Corp. It was an all around training, touching on everything from front page controller programming all the way to wiring diagrams, load switches, and other cabinet hardware. Huge thanks to Kristel Shu Bassett for all of her work in organizing it and to Christopher Burke Engineering for hosting! If you couldn’t make it and want to get a glimpse of what you missed, reach out to the Technical Chair, Kristel for any materials and presentations that were provided. We'll have more Technical Opportunities coming up, so stay tuned!
