ILITE members:
As president of the Chicago chapter of the Transportation Research Forum, I want to let you know we are excited to be having our Annual Forum right here in our city this April 2017 and look forward to having ITE members both as presenters and attendees. TRF is comprised of professionals and practitioners devoted to analysis of transportation issues. This national forum will be held at the UIC campus on April 20-21, 2017, and will feature research, public policy discussions and opportunities for networking and professional interactions. We expect 200+.
We hope you will also consider submitting an abstract for presentation. We are asking for an “extended abstract” (2 to 3 pages) describing the problem statement, methodology, and findings of your study. The deadline for abstract submissions is November 30, and full papers must be submitted in advance of the conference, generally by February 28. We will provide peer-review feedback on all papers. We will have a special registration rate for ITE members living in the Chicago region that will bring the cost to a level similar to the annual Transport Chicago conference.
Additionally, we’ll have a special session featuring graduate student research, as well as a combined poster session and networking event.
For more information and abstract submittal, please visit our conference website. We hope to see you at the 2017 Annual Forum in Chicago! Feel free to send us questions.
