On October 6th, IL-ITE had a great time meeting young professionals at the 8th Annual Speed Networking Event! This joint event was put on by IL-ITE, YPT- Chicago, COMTO Chicago, and WTS Greater Chicago Chapters, and featured students and young professionals from all over Illinois. Student participants ranged from Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Illinois - Chicago, University of Chicago, Northwestern, and University of Illinois - Champaign Urbana., and more.
Professionals from Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago Department of Transportation, Regional Transit Authority, Amtrak, WSP, HDR, Jacobs, Transmart, Transystems, Gannet-Fleming, and more were present to meet the upcoming members of the industry. Thanks to everyone that showed up to help make this event possible, and we look forward to ensuring the future of the industry is strong with the next generation of young professionals!
