On November 16th, IL-ITE hosted a technical webinar covering The Fundamentals of Competitive Transportation Grants. The webinar was hosted by Tammy Wierciak and Seema Wadia from Metro Strategies Group, and provided excellent insight into the process of various infrastructure grants.
The presentation provided an overview of various regional, state, and federal transportation grant programs including new programs under the Infrastructure and Investment Jobs Act (IIJA). Participants learned some tips and strategies to:
Identify and pursue appropriate opportunities
Leverage multiple funding sources
Make your application stand out
