On Wednesday September 11th, ILITE hosted our 2024 Fall Loopy Modal Bike Tour. The group had an amazing time biking around West Loop and the Loop with the Chicago Department of Transportation’s Bike Group showcasing some great bicycle infrastructure and some plans for Chicago’s future bike infrastructure. Thanks to the CDOT Complete Streets Design Manager Kurt Facknitz and CDOT Bikeways Program Manager Gina Showers for leading the tour (over 20 bikers!). Big thanks to Highline Bar for hosting us for some cold beverages afterward.
