The Illinois Section of ITE held our 2025 Annual Banquet on Thursday, January 30th. Thank you to everyone who came to Carnivale in Chicago, the night was full of great food, and even greater people! The new ILITE board was sworn in, and we are excited to welcome our new members on the team for a productive 2025!

The winners for the Student Scholarship Award was Sanaz Kazemzadehazad a graduate student from Illinois Institute of Technology.
The Student Paper Award was awarded to Sajad Askari from University of Illinois at Chicago for his paper, Leveraging eXplainable GeoAI to Unveil Spatial Non-Stationary Effects of Determinants in Transportation Demand .
Lastly, Illinois Institute of Technology won the Student Chapter Award.
